Would you like your art or photography on the cover of The American Homeopath journal????

Are you an artist or photographer? The most recent issue of The American Homeopath journal features an image from Dr Chaitali Hambire, a pediatric dentist who uses homeopathy with her young patients. The painting is titled “Healing” and it depicts a homeopath applying the knowledge she has gained from her study and experience to craft a remedy.

The North American Society of Homeopaths would like to give all creative members of the homeopathic community the chance to have their work on their cover for 2022.

The theme for the upcoming issue is “Public Health”; ideally your artwork submission should reflect or relate to this idea.

You can submit original photographs and artwork, or photos of three-dimensional pieces such as sculpture. You do not have to be a NASH member to submit your art.

If you are interested, please send your artwork (photographed, scanned, or digitally originated) to editor@americanhomeopath.com by December 15th, 2021. You can submit up to three images.

Their panel of art-loving judges will decide on a winner and a runner-up; the winner will have their art on the cover of The American Homeopath, and the runner-up will also be featured in the journal.

Here are the technical details: The cover size is 8.5″ x 11″ (or 2550 x 3300 pixels). Images should be in “portrait” orientation. File types accepted: Adobe Photoshop; Adobe Illustrator (when sending EPS files, save all text as outlines); or high-resolution PDF file (distilled through Acrobat Distiller with fonts embedded). Images in grayscale, 300 dpi resolution at the desired print size, saved as PDF, Tiff, or EPS. If you submit JPG images, image quality is not our responsibility.

NASH reserves the right to reject submissions for any reason, including inappropriate format or size, or if they are not reproducible for the cover.

If you have any questions, please email NASH at editor@americanhomeopath.com. Their very dedicated co-editors, Narda Alcantara and Hasina Hai will be happy to help.
