MY PROMISE TO YOU

HOW WE CAN WORK TOGETHER

I will listen to your story without judgment.  I will sit with you until I fully appreciate your experiences and your symptoms.  I will work to find the most effective homeopathic remedy to heal your complaints so you can live creatively and freely with the sharpest mind, calmest emotions and strongest, most flexible body possible.

You are an intelligent and thoughtful person.  You read.  You check things out.   You explore your options.  You want the best for yourself and your family, especially when it comes to health, and you will go the extra mile for it.  You understand that the person you are is more than just a collection of physical parts.  You are thoughts.  You are feelings.  And you are a spiritual being as well.  And if there is a natural and holistic way to support and strengthen all those aspects of who you are, then you want to know about it and see what it can do for you.

I’m a professional homeopath. I’m a deep believer in the innate intelligence and inborn creativity of every person on this planet. I also acknowledge the incredible value that each plant, mineral and animal adds to the diversity of our environment.  I have witnessed the profound healing effects that the minimal dose of a well-selected natural remedy can have on a person’s physical, emotional, and mental well-being. I have seen that the most profound healing improves a person on every level and leaves them a changed being, better able to handle the stresses around them and freer to enjoy the gifts in their lives.

There are thousands of homeopathic medicines or “remedies”.  Each one is associated with specific physical, emotional, and mental presentations.  My job is to take my patient’s story and match their symptoms or presentations with the homeopathic remedy found to best release or heal them.  After introducing the remedy to the patient (in capsule, pellet, liquid or cream form), we wait to see the response.  Depending on the patient’s symptoms and the prescribed remedy, this may take minutes, hours, or days.  But the goal is for deep, prolonged healing.  This may be in the form of reduced pain, increased flexibility and freedom, or greater strength.  Other times, it is in the form of sharper memory, improved focus, greater clarity of mind and creativity.  It may also be in the form of better sleep, a deeper sense of calm and security and greater ability to manage during times of stress.  True healing occurs when patients report improvement on all three levels: physical, emotional and mental. It occurs when patients can live fuller lives, freed from the physical and emotional limitations that restricted their growth and their ability to enjoy the world.

So, if you are someone with a physical, emotional or mental issue that gets in the way of your being able to work, study, or reach your greatest potential, I can work with you.  I work with infants, toddlers, youngsters, teens and adults.  I work with families where I treat grandma and grandpa, mom and dad, and all the children and babies.  I work with people who take no medications and people who take several prescribed medications.  I work with people who have many other health professionals on their team and those who only have a few.  The bottom line is that I am a flexible and concerned practitioner and can work with any patient so long as we have the common goal of finding the safest, most effective homeopathic treatment plan possible.

My job begins with a simple process. As a homeopath, I sit and listen to my patients.  I observe. I take the time to hear their stories.  We start with what’s troubling the person the most.  Sometimes it’s headaches, allergies, or digestive troubles, but it can also be anxiety, loss, irritability or depression.   It might be memory loss, difficulty concentrating or inability to fall asleep.  No matter where we start, I get all the details (when it began, what makes it better or worse, what other things accompany this, are there other feelings that come up?) Then we move on to any other troubles that exist. Eventually, I want to learn about who my patients are beyond their complaints:  what they’ve been through and how all of that comes together to make them the person who they are.  What do they feel throughout the day? What brings them joy and what makes them struggle? I want to know what they feel when they are in pain and what they feel when they are in a good place.  I make sure my patients feel like they have been seen and heard.  I like when they say, “Wow.  I didn’t expect this.  I feel like I’ve shared parts of myself that I haven’t thought of in years” or “I never gave so much thought to what’s been going on.  Now I understand myself in ways I never have before”. When patients feel like they’ve been seen, then true healing is possible.
